Michael Hayes

Guitar Teacher

Michael has always had music around him with Grandad (Mick Hayes aka Randy) and Uncle (Matt Hayes) being heavily involved in the music industry.

He ended up having guitar lessons with Matt at the age of 13 at Idol Hands and then continued on to also having lessons with Idol Hands Tutors, Martin and Bari.

During this time Michael started teaching school friends at 15, this then built up to students of all ages around the Surrey area.

A year later Michael went to college and studied a guitar diploma at BIMM in Brighton which followed to getting a degree in Professional Musicianship(guitar). During this time, he collaborated and played session guitar for lots of artists either developing their songs and touring or helping out last minute for shows.

Alongside this he was heavily involved in playing guitar for musicals ranging from local amateur productions to professional showreels and performing with west end actors. Including shows such as RENT, Made in Dagenham, West Side Story, Loserville, Green Day The Musical and Return to the Forbidden Planet. 

Realising his passion for guitar and musical equipment Michael decided to venture into product demonstration and in 2018 flew out to Germany to go to Europe's biggest music convention, Musikmesse. It was during this time he met the musical equipment company named CUVAVE (now named M-VAVE). After playing some guitar licks from Van Halen, Jim Hendrix and Eric Clapton the company decided to endorse Michael and fly him out the following year as an artist along with bringing him to the world's biggest music convention in LA (NAMM SHOW) in 2020.

Michael is currently recording and releasing his own instrumental guitar music along with playing gigs in the local area.
